Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2018!
My name is Matrika Prasad Devkota and I come from western rural part of Nepal. I was born in a Hindu priest family and I was taught that there is no body above the head and no caste upper than Brahmin. I was a happy boy, the youngest of the familyand was well taken care of by everyone around. I was very ambitious even during childhood and I used to study really hard.
Unfortunately, at the age of 15, suddenly I started feeling physically and mentally weaker and I felt it worsening as the days went by. Most of the time I was in a deep sad mood and it came to a point where ithindered my overall performance as my functioning was totally lost. I felt like I would die soon. I was always taught in Hinduism to worship God in fear. I was afraid and I was not able to think that I would have good life after death.
During the time of weakness, I got Jesus as my savior the God of love and Grace. Now, I can get any answers from Jesus. “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.»Revelation 21:4 Now,
God has healed me completely and now I am devoting my life for fellow sisters and brothers, in part of recovery and rehabilitation, of people affected by mental illness.
